Amaury Acosta ,also known as  King Klavé , is an experimental multi-genre music producer, electronic musician, DJ,  from Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

He is the son of Cuban Film Maker Ivan Acosta. Arts was always a part of his upbringing in New York. “My dad would play all types of records growing up from  Perez Prado, Beny Moré to the Beatles, Hendrix, Dizzy, Miles, Coltrane,  Kraft Werk,  David Bowie, James Brown.  My Dad always Encouraged me to be bold and different”.

Amaury’s  unique experience of growing up as a Cuban New Yorker has crafted his sonic experience to mold him. “I bring all of the influences I got growing up in New York.”

Amaury’s production style focuses on Soulful sounds in the vein of Jazz , Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Rock, and Electronica. In his solo project KING KLAVÉ he fuses these styles with AfroCuban roots in a drum/dj setting.
